Borneo Heritage : Retailer for a large collection of Sabah handicrafts

BorneoHeritage

Welcome to BORNEO HERITAGE. Our products are handicrafts made by natives of Sabah/North Borneo. The three largest native group are the Kadazan-Dusuns, the Bajaus and then the Muruts. There are about 30 more indigenous groups but to list them all would take pages.

Because each item is a handmade product the result is that no two items are exactly alike. The natives tend to vary the use of colours and design from one product to another. As a result we will try to provide handicrafts that are similar or almost alike to the ones being ordered.

These handicraft's can be used as jewelry, household decoration or even gifts. Some items like the weaves can be used cleverly to make inlays on furniture like coffee tables, dining tables, wall cabinets, chairs etc. It is up to you to use your imagination.

Often farming isn't enough to earn a living. Items sold will help natives to get an additional source of income especially those in the rural areas of Sabah.
